Dr. Camelia G. Whitten received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1985. She completed her residency in radiology at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME, in 1990, serving as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in 1990 and remained on the faculty for the next two years. During this time, Dr. Whitten contributed numerous articles and book chapters to radiology literature. She joined Via Radiology after 13 successful years in private practice as a musculoskeletal radiologist with Regional Diagnostic Radiology in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
She is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology from the American Board of Radiology.
Her interests include all aspects of orthopedic and rheumatologic imaging, with a special interest in musculoskeletal MRI and therapeutic injections of the lumbar spine and joints.
