Frederic Joseph, M.D.

Dr. Frederic Joseph, born in New York, graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in 1989. He completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Emory University in 1994 and a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Wilford Hall Medical Center in 1995. He is certified with the American Board of Radiology and has received a certificate of additional qualification (CAQ) in Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Joseph's area of expertise is Interventional Radiology. He is currently the Director of outpatient Interventional Radiology services at Via Vascular. Among the many procedures he performs are vertebroplasty and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins. Other procedures include tumor therapy procedures (including radiofrequency ablation and chemoembolization), uterine fibroid embolization, kyphoplasty, catheter directed intervention in acute stroke, interventional pain management (including epidural steroid injections, nerve root blocks and facet blocks), TIPS, DVT thrombolysis, arteriography, angioplasty, arterial and venous stenting. Dr. Joseph is one of the founders of Via Vascular .
