Marc Jacobson, M.D.
Dr. Marc Jacobson, born in Pennsylvania, graduated with honors and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1982. He completed his Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in 1986. Returning to the University of Texas, Dr. Jacobson advanced oncologic imaging and dedicated over 12 years of service at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, where he was Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology. He is board-certified with the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Jacobson’s areas of expertise include oncologic imaging and the use of the cross-sectional imaging modalities of CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine, including PET-CT. Dr. Jacobson has specialized interests in the applications of ultrasound-guided biopsies and in furthering PET-CT. Dr. Jacobson is widely published in numerous peer-reviewed publications.
