Katherine Dee, M.D.

Dr. Katherine Dee, born in New York, graduated from Yale School of Medicine in 1994. She completed her Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Washington in 1999 followed by a Fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco in 2000. She was Assistant Professor and Interim Director of Breast Imaging at the University of Washington prior to joining Via Radiology. She is certified with the American Board of Radiology.

In addition to her expertise in conventional breast imaging and interventional procedures, Dr. Dee has considerable experience in breast MRI. Since joining Via Radiology, she has developed a Breast MRI program at the Seattle Breast Center, including MRI-guided breast biopsy, which is currently available at only a small number of centers in the country. Dr. Dee has also developed a breast imaging educational website including useful information for patients and clinicians at www.MammoEd.com.
